There are some steroids that be extremely dangerous for the users who take them. On the other hand, there are some steroids that are used to cure people who experience different inflammatory conditions such as chronic bronchitis. These steroids are different from the anabolic steroids which are very harmful.

Anabolic steroids are basically the artificial version of the male hormone called testosterone. Sometimes anabolic steroids are also referred as juice or roids. Anabolic steroids can be legally used in order to encourage puberty in teenagers and treat the patients who suffer from diseases like AIDs or cancer.

There are some side effects associated with the use of anabolic steroids. These side effects are short term and can be gone if taken care of properly. These side effects include:

Mood swings.

Fatigue.

Restlessness/ agitation.

Decreased appetite.

Trouble sleeping.

Decreased sperm count.

Impotence.

Mostly anabolic steroids are in injectable forms, so the site of injection can also experience some side effects such as skin injection or swelling. If the individual wishes to use steroid cream than a noticeable smell can be present.
